In February, we celebrated the two hundredth anniversary of our founding as the oldest church in Macon and the Mother Church of the Diocese of Atlanta. Bishop Robert Wright presided over a packed service attended by clergy for all over the diocese, visitors from other Macon churches, and other local leaders, such as mayor Lester Miller. It was a wonderful evening followed by a lovely reception and a fitting tribute to the generations who went before us.
