It was a beautiful service last night as Walnut Street Music, the Christ Church Choir, and the St. Cecilia Choir and Choristers presented their annual Advent Lessons and Carols. Lessons and Carols is a beloved service for the Advent season that interweaves scripture and song to tell the story of salvation from Genesis to the Gospels. It is a perfect moment of contemplation and beauty in the midst of the busy holiday season to prepare spiritually for the celebration of Christmas.
