Yesterday, despite the ominous weather warnings, we had a huge crowd at our Annual Meeting. We ate a wonderful lunch provided by Andrea Williford and the Parish Life Committee and heard from a number of speakers about the life of our parish in 2025. We heard reports from our Rector, Senior and Junior Wardens, and Treasurer. We expressed our appreciation for Steve Solomon, Russ Henry, Nancy White, and Lawrence Williford, who finished their vestry terms, and welcomed William Baxley, Jan Beeland, Margaret Boltja, and Jeff Powers, who were elected to replace them. Jonathan Wetherbee shared his experience with last year’s parish retreat to Kanuga and we announced that this year’s retreat will be to Camp Mikkel in October. We also reviewed the budget for 2026 and answered questions from the congregation.
