In April we celebrated Holy Week and Easter. Holy Week began with Palm Sunday where processed into the church with palm fronds and read the entire Passion narrative. On Maundy Thursday we held an Agape Supper in Jones Chapel followed by a Maundy Thursday service with footwashing and Stripping of the Altar. On Good Friday, we gathered for solemn prayer, veneration of the cross, and Stations of the Cross. On Saturday the young families gathered for an Easter Eggs hunt and, later, we held our Easter Vigil. On Easter morning the church was packed with people and overflowing with flowers. We ended the month by celebrating our young people on Youth Sunday.
