The Program Year Begins
August Recap!
Last month we kicked off our 2025–2026 Program Year and a return to our normal weekly schedule. Our weekday Bible studies and Wednesday noon healing Eucharist resumed.
On August 17, our Children’s, Youth, and Adult Sunday school classes began. Our choir returned from their summer break to enrich our worship with their beautiful voices.
That same day, we prepared our children for the new school year by blessing their backpacks and giving Bibles to our new third graders.
On August 24, our Young Family Supper Club met at the home of Bobby & Elizabeth Schorr for food and fellowship.
On August 31, we had our first All in the Family intergenerational Sunday school where we studied Hebrews 13:1-2 and “entertained angels” by making over 300 sandwiches for the community refrigerator at Centenary Methodist. On to September!
