EPISCOPAL YOUTH COMMUNITY

We welcome all 6th-12th graders to join us at Christ Church EYC (Episcopal Youth Community) which is a welcoming and inclusive community for all teenagers.

We strive to be an open and safe space for our youth as they navigate the ups and downs of life, including school, church, friendships, and everything in between.

We have lots of fun while also growing in our faith and relationship with God.

SCHEDULE:
This year, our monthly schedule will rotate each week to allow our families flexibility with travel and their busy lives.

We look forward to our first EYC gathering of the 2024-2025 year on August 18th!

1st Sunday of The Month: Hosted at a Family’s House

2nd Sunday of The Month: Going Beyond Our Walls! This could be a fun outing or a service
project.

3rd Sunday of The Month: Hosted at The Church in The Youth Suite

4th Sunday of The Month: High School 4th Sundays By The Fire

Besides Sunday, we also meet every other Friday for breakfast at 7:30am at Chikfila on Zebulon
Road (during their construction we will meet at Cathedral Coffee)

2024-2025 THEME:
Our 2024-2025 EYC year will revolve around the theme “Fruits of The Spirit: May our Roots Extend Deep Into The Nourishing Soil of God’s Goodness.”

Each month, we will focus our
intentions on a different Fruit of The Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control) and how we can apply these virtues to our day-to-day lives as teenagers in today’s world.
