On New Year’s Day, the city imploded the old hotel across the street. There was a huge dust cloud, but thanks to the preparations of the demolition company, the church suffered no harm. Later in the year we had a rare snowfall and blanketed the church in snow, at least for a day. We celebrated the next of our Bicentennial events with a cocktail party to preview our Bicentennial coffee table book: Sacred Reflections. Several parishioners went to the cathedral to be commissioned a lay ministers in different ministries. And we held our annual business meeting.
