In March, we celebrated Shrove Tuesday, the last day before Lent, with A Night on Walnut Street, a New Orleans themed low country boil with a silent auction to benefit out youth pilgrimage to England. We began the forty days of Lent the next day on Ash Wednesday. We had an instructional seder supper where we explored the connections between the People of Israel and the Church. During the Cherry Blossom Festival we hosted an art show and the Old City Flower Festival where we greeted over 1000 visitors during the week of the festival.
